I got into building dollhouses several years ago. Articles about my work have appeared in Dollhouse Miniatures Magazine, The Doll's House Magazine and Miniaturas.

I own an online miniatures shop called New England Miniatures (http://www.newenglandminiatures.com/), which is listed here.
I've also written up websites about Victorian interiors (http://victoriandecorating.blogspot.com/),and early 20th century (http://earlytwentiethcenturyhomes.blogspot.com/) or Edwardian interiors, together with many other pages of historic, decorating, miniatures, and what not links. You can explore my many sites through the links page found on New England Miniatures.
Oh, my Dollhouses (http://grazhinas-dollhouses.blogspot.com/) page includes write ups and pictures of the houses I've designed and built. Some of them are actually extensive tutorials.
My newest site is the New England Miniatures Blog (http://newenglandminiatures.blogspot.com/). Recent posts have included the making of the Kitschy Kitchen, which is actually a cottage kitchen roombox, and a story I wrote about a dollhouse named Daisy.
Yesterday I added a tutorial on how to make a kitchen stove from basswood.

So.....browse around when you have the time. I guarantee you'll find something interesting.

I've posted a couple of comments on the blog site of the dollhouses sites. You really have provided some good details about how you did them. I love the log cabin you made for the gnomes. It's so sweet and homey!

Thank you, glad you enjoyed them. I'll be adding to the blog soon, been somewhat busy lately.
I just realized, you're the "shingle guy". I've at times thought of painting wooden shingles to look like slate, but haven't gotten around to experimenting with them. I saw your blog and noted you to myself as shingle guy.
