I just found out about this site through my friend Chris P. I have enjoyed miniature dollhouses since I was a child. I still have my old Marx metal dh. and most of its original contents. I also have my Renwalls from the mid '50s. They have found a new home in a rehabbed wood cottage from a second hand shop. In addition I now have 3 1:12 scale dh - one under construction, one needing a lot of finishing work and TLC, and the third is one of those that can be dismantled to store flat. I have recently become more interested in creating room settings since they are easier to finish in a reasonable time frame.
My hobby has brought me to several on-line sites that I enjoy. I now have local friends whom I met through a live group that we formed about a year ago. It is more fun to have a hobby to share and aquire new skills.
