Hello, fellow mini nuts! My wife, Pam, and I have been miniaturists for nearly 30 years. Back in the 70's, Pam found a book about creative ways to decorate a dollhouse using household items. She dragged me to a hobby shop to buy her some tools and a kit.
Pam never assembled the kit or used the tools, but it got me started in the dollhouse hobby. She is a collector and my most ardent supporter while I have become a pretty good miniatures maker and buy items when I can't make them or don't want to take the time to fuss with trying.
As a boy, I loved playing with "little people." I had a circus, a castle, a western town, an African village, a North Pole set, scads of little army men, etc. You could arguable say I've loved minis virtually all my life.
I started a blog not long ago, and would love to share it with any of you who might be interested. In it, I try to share photographs of things I've done, with "how to" instructions as well as discussions about tools I use for making my minis. You can find it at http://tallminiguy.blogspot.com/
